COLD ENAMELLING / DOMING RESIN SYSTEMS
THE
CHEMSET® COLD ENAMELLING/DOMING PRODUCTS
are used to produce buttons, buckles, badges, costume jewellery,
sports trophies, insignia and for the general enhancement of fancy
goods, etc. They set to form a durable, robust enamel or lens. Compared
with traditional vitreous enamels they are cold setting materials
that do not need firing, are much cleaner to apply and have a built-in
resilience, which is a vast improvement over the brittleness of
vitreous enamel.
Being almost
colourless, CHEMSET® Enamelling Systems have water-like clarity
and naturally form clear lens-like domes. They can be coloured to
give opaque or transparent coloured domes. Of course, we can supply
the colours as well! They can also be used, for example, to infill
engravings using special intense colours. If required, they can
be ground flat and polished to a bright finish.
The CHEMSET®
Enamelling Resin Range consists of a number of resin/ hardener compounds
each designed to suit a particular type of application. These include:
- CHEMSET®
ES 8102 - A clear, free-flowing liquid resin system for use in
the majority of applications. Available in 25 kg and 5 kg cans.

case, can be shown and demonstrated to you. They can also give guidance
on the construction of base pieces, different effects, etc.
We are willing
to enamel a small quantity of pieces for you to prove their suitability

provide you with a limited quantity of pre-weighed sample material
for you to try out. All of the above are free-of-charge to bona-fide
customers.
Going on from
there we can provide the services of a professional jewellery designer/enameller,
who has been using our products for 10 years and has been working
