How do we differ
from the 'run of the mill' resin suppliers?

LTD specialise in custom formulated reactive resin systems.
That is, we talk to the customer to find out about their problem,
what they want to achieve and how, and then produce a sample which
we think will meet the requirements. If it doesn't, we will make
another and fine-tune the product until it suits. We are happy to
do this for quantities as low as 10 kg in many cases. This can either
be done free, when all information remains ours, or on a consultancy
basis when the formula becomes the customer's property.
Often the sample
will be a modification of an established proven formula but sometimes
it will be new.

EE 5101 Epoxy Potting Compound |
Normally
coloured Red but also in Green (EE 5102) and Yellow (EE
5103).
A filled resin system with excellent electrical properties
used, for example, for potting EHT units, capacitors etc.
Variable cure schedules can be used. |

EE 5110 Epoxy Potting Compound |
| Colour
Blue
Similar to EE 5101 but more resilient and used to encapsulate
delicate components which cannot withstand pressure
from curing or thermal shrinkage. |

EE 5130 Epoxy Potting Compound |
| A
cheaper alternative to EE 5110 containing non-reactive
plasticizer to achieve the resilience. Lower characteristics
are inevitable with such a system. |
| CHEMSET®
EE 5201 Epoxy Potting Compound |
| A
novel sealing compound which uses a catalytic type hardener
which gives a long pot life at room temperature with a
fast cure time at elevated temperatures (i.e. 40-60°C). |

EE 5301 Impregnating Compound |
A
low viscosity system with variable get time for impregnating
transformer windings etc.
